Starly

A drawing from my sketchbook of the Pokemon Starly. I started out by preparing this page with some crayon outlines of leaves and holly strands for a fall/Christmas picture. Then I went to Starbucks the other day and suddenly got the idea to draw Starly on top with china marker and violet crayon. The drawing looked good, but as a final touch I added a saffron wash over the whole thing, and viola`, here she is!

I really like this drawing actually. It's better than most of the things in my sketchbook.
